The way Anita fell for people was unreasonable and tragic. She would leap into love without the realization that people weren’t always ready to catch her. So every jump, she laid in contorted bones and a pulseless heart. But, for some reason after healing, the memories of her downfalls did not exist in her mind; until she collided with the ground again.
It took one more jump for her to be aware of everything.
Only this time, someone was there to catch her. Julianne. She did not see it coming but last minute, without a second thought; she threw out her arms to catch Anita. They both fell to the ground, but Julianne softened the blow.

Anita was extremely grateful. She appreciated Julianne for risking herself to catch her, even though she didn’t appear to be ready. Julianne became to Anita, what the sun is to the sky, and what the moon is to the night. Anita was happy that she fell this time. A few bruises and cuts beat the usual turn out.
Julianne was pleased that she had done something right for someone. She strived to make people happy and she did her best to always abide by that. Little did she know the catch she made weeks before had caused internal bleeding.
Anitas dependency on Julianne had Julianne constantly struggling to be enough. Constantly trying to keep up the initial expectation of always being able to catch Anita when she fell. Soon Anita leaped off of threats and uncertainties at every corner. Anita would never know how Julianne began to hurt.
Julianne remained loyal because through all the chaos she found comfort in knowing she could help someone more broken then she. She began to find self-sustenance in always being the hero, though she tired.

Julianne broke. Julianne could not keep up to the standards that were set for her. But she knew she needed to remain, but she could no longer catch hearts. She thought, anyway. That was until someone who leaped less, Dalynne; came into her life.
The weight with her had vanished; for a moment.
But Anitas worry on Julianne’s loyalty grew stronger. Julianne grew guilty. As the pressure began to crush her she felt her hope drain from her slowly decaying body.

The fight for sanity only got worse when the two hearts leaped for Julianne at once.
Who will she choose? And which will send her to death?
